The South Georgetown Secondary School NY Chapter in Association with the Guyana Chapter has agreed to implement an After-School Program at the St Stephens Primary School which will focus on improving student’s proficiency in reading, writing, spelling and Mathematics.

The scholarship fund is established to provide Educational and Socio-economic support to students and Alumni of the St Stephen’s Primary school – The fund will provide financial and other tangible incentives to high achievers of the Secondary Schools Entrance examinations (SSEE.) Scholarship recipients will receive an annual grant for the duration of their secondary education; subject to attaining and maintaining stated criteria.

The South Georgetown Secondary School NY Chapter in Association has agreed to implement a Toy Drive Program during the Months of October and November to benefit the kids at the St Stephens Primary School which will focus on improving student’s moral and busting self-confidence. The toys are given out at school Christmas party.

In 2009 the members of South Georgetown Secondary School Alumni in Collaboration with The Guyana Chapter embarked on creating a library for the students of Stephen’s School, since then we have been collecting new and gently used book to sustain the library.
